About the event
Meckley Brooms will be offering various broom making lessons throughout Saturday and Sunday during the Patchtown Days celebration. **Ticket purchase is required

***Admission to Eckley Miners Village/Patchtown Days is a separate/additional fee, paid at the gate.

Learn the basics of broom making and create 2 sustainable old fashion broom products, The cake tester & veggie brush (can also be called a cast iron pot scrubber) Patchtown Days Hours are 10-4. There is an admission fee to enter Eckley Miners Village. This is separate from the broom making classes. Ages 12+

This is a basic intro class to broom making. You will craft a sustainable and eco friendly whisk broom to assist with your daily clean up chores. Functional and pretty. Natural broomcorn and a choice of thread color. We will provide everything you need including a bit of history into broom making. Class will be held at our vendor booth if weather permitting or inside the education building if weather dictates. Eckley Miners Village admission fee is required to gain entrance to festival.
