This class is an excellent introduction to broom making. You will learn broom making history, broom makers lingo, types of materials and equipment used, and will craft 3 basic brooms: The Cake Tester, Cast Iron Pot Scrubber/Veggie Brush, and a Whisk Broom. Great 1st step into broom making.

About the event
This In-Person class includes all materials. A beverage is provided by Last Leg Cidery-included with class. Additional Last Leg Cidery products can be purchased. Should you need to cancel your seat, a full refund can be issued up to 3 days prior to event. Within 3 days, a 50% refund is given.
Dress comfortably, lap should be covered to prevent skin irritation (applies to summer time and short shorts-broomcorn can be itchy on legs). Please wear soft soled shoes that do not fall off your feet. Avoid flip flops or slides. Sneakers work best.
Due to the hand/foot coordination and arm strength required, we do not recommend this activity for those that struggle with restrictive hand movements or tennis elbow issues.
