This class is for those who love to craft and want to explore hand tying whisks. You will leave with 2 completed whisks, tied in two different styles. Any Colored broomcorn, and materials included. Our Beginner Broom making class is recommended, but not required. Ages 15+

About the event
Come celebrate Valentines Day with us <3 This is a new class. Warning......you may just fall in love with the craft. You will spend a few minutes quickly learning about the materials we are using, the tools, lingo and then we will begin with our Darling Hawktail whisk. This is a small little warm-up whisk, to get you familiar with the tension, tying, knots and how the instruction flows. Once everyone is an expert on the hawktail whisk, we will move onto the main attraction: The intentional & elegant Seeded Hens Wing Whisk. This is a full size whisk that probably won't be used for cleaning purposes, but it will make decor piece you can be proud of.

Explore the art of whisk making. Hand tie 2 unique styles of whisk brooms. Pick colored broomcorn, and threads. All materials and tools are supplied for the class. You are welcome to bring drinks. You do need hand/foot coordination and a bit of hand and arm strength. Broom making can be a good workout!
