This black plaited turkey wing style whisk broom is hand tied using shades of blue and gray set on a black base. (Black, blues, gray) blended together, creating a lovely useable piece of working art.  The trending term to describe this whisk is utilitarian.  It's made from a sustainable product, broomcorn, and hand dyed with non-toxic dyes and zero preservatives.  That means it should be kept dry and out of direct sunlight because dyes will fade much quicker if not treated with caustic preservatives.  We choose to make an environmentally friendly product over long lasting bright colors!  The only part of our whisks that can not be returned to the earth, is the Blue Swirl nylon thread.  We have made this choice because it directly affects the construction and longevity.   We hope, if the time comes, that you need to retire the whisk, you will recycle or repurpose the nylon thread.  
 
This combo of colors is intended to become a normal whisk color option in our shop, however, due to a recent health issue, these colors will be delayed so that we can maintain our current inventory combos to fill orders.   So, if you are the lucky one to purchase one of these 2 whisks, there will not be others like it for a while!
