Dionysus was the ancient Greek god of wine, winemaking, grape cultivation, fertility, ritual madness, theater, and religious ecstasy.  Dionysus was often called Eleutherios, meaning “the liberator,” because his wine, music, and ecstatic dance freed his followers from self-consciousness and the restraints of society.  Dionysus has been associated to the colors of green and purple because he taught mortals to make wine of grapes.

The Ash besom is detailed with amazing carvings all done the ash beetle and discovered and repurposed by us.  I hand tied it using black, green and purple craftcorn.   The photos describe it's beauty way better than words.  It is one of a kind.  It is the perfect besom for our autumnal collection of brooms.

This is an amazing cottagecore piece, wedding broom, or for ceremonial use.  It is approx 60" in overall length.

Handcrafted from beginning to end.  We hunt for the broomsticks, dye our own broomcorn and build these beautiful besoms.  All sustainable and never harming living plants or the environment with our non-toxic dyes.

I hope you enjoy our art and craft of broom making.
