This is a special edition sweeper broom made entirely by hand.  From the purple dyed handle to the purple and greens broomcorn, you can be assured that the dragonfly Garden sweeper will stir up some conversation.  When the dyeing and finishing of the handle and broomcorn are completed, the colors are then blended and the broom is assembled on our 1800's kickwinder.  Then she hangs out for a week,to be sure there is zero moisture left in the broomcorn, before we hand stitching with purple thread.  
 
The final product is a branded and packaged to be delivered to your doorstep.
 
This is a standard size kitchen/house sweeper broom.  Average overall length is 55" with a 9-10" bristle spread.  You can assist the spread with your hands by fanning the bristles out once received.  A corn broom will naturally spread further in use and after years of use.  Always hang a broom or flip it on it's handle.  Never let a corn broom at rest on it's bristles to prevent gravity from working it's magic and keep that swoop shape away.
